Total Cost of Ownership, also known as Life-Cycle Cost, in its simplest form, is defined as a measurement of the cost of assets that includes the cost used to operate them in addition to the cost of acquiring them or First Cost.  There can be a significant difference between the First Cost of something and its’ Total Cost of Ownership.  In our industry, the hidden costs that make up the difference include, but are not limited to, the cost of utilities to operate the systems, add-ons, service contracts, service calls, training and software upgrades.

At CCG we understand Total Cost of Ownership.  Every project we develop and implement is focused around the lowest Total Cost of Ownership possible.   Most times we don’t have the lowest First Cost, but we continually blow out the competition when you look at the Total Cost of Ownership.  Our competition focuses on First Cost because they don’t want you to understand, and then evaluate, the Total Cost of Ownership.  There are other factors that need to be included in the development of a project – a significant one being comfort.
